I have the same iMac 21.5' mid 2010 with Win 7 on bootcamp. After I upgraded to Win 10, I ran into the 'bad pool header' issue. I did quite many steps to attempt to resolve it, ie:

- uninstall some of the memory residence apps, eg ant-virus, Torrent. I tried to keep the system as clean as possible in order to isolate the problem

- search the latest drivers from internet, eg I found a Wifi driver that is later than the Bootcamp 4 version.

- run the bootcamp 4 app in Win 7 compatible mode

So far I restarted the iMac for a couple of times without the bad pool header error. I am still unsure whether I finally fix the problem so I am keeping my fingers cross.
